Recycle Detroit LogoRecycle Detroit will be heading Dally in the Alley’s 2008 Green Team.  Recycle Detroit will take the initiative to make the Dally in the Alley 2008 the “cleanest festival in the city.”  This project will require over 100+ volunteers and will need the cooperation of the community in order to be successful.  Recycle Detroit’s goal is to divert at least 50% of the waste into recyclables.  Recently at Rothbury Festival 2008, Recycle Detroit’s volunteers assisted in accomplishing a 75% diversion of waste!!  There will be recycling stations set up through out the festival, and Recycle Detroit will have bins for the following:

  • PLASTIC – #1-7
  • METAL  – ALL metals
  • FIBER – paper, cardboard, fliers
  • WASTE – Non-recyclable
  • Food Vendors are restricted to use paper and plastic food ware

For those interested to help make the Dally in the Alley the “cleanest festival in Detroit” please contact volunteers@recycledetroit.com or visit www.recycledetroit.com
